Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) plans to fund more than 800 programs across the country to help newcomers settle and integrate successfully in Canada.
Programs must incorporate either language training, employment services, francophone culture promotion, mental health initiatives, or ways to include marginalized populations and small, rural, and northern areas to receive funding.
Notable government and corporate partners, including the Boys and Girls Club, Atlantic Superstore, Royal Bank of Canada, and Blue Cross, plan on participating in this initiative to welcome Canada’s newcomers.
