Jack Letts, a British-Canadian who joined ISIS as a teen in 2014, hopes Canada will take him back after his U.K. citizenship was revoked.
Letts, who holds Canadian citizenship through his father, is currently imprisoned in northern Syria and would be charged for supporting and engaging in terrorism were he to return to Canada.
The Canadian government has expressed disappointment with the U.K’s decision.
