ACCES Employment Service Provider Helps Afghan Refugees

Canada has now welcomed 9,560 Afghan immigrants into the country, many of which need help finding meaningful employment in their new country of residence.

ACCES, one of the most successful employment service providers, is helping connect job seekers with a variety of skills to employers who are ready and willing to utilize their expertise.

ACCES also offers mentoring support, translation/language support, job search workshops, work placements, and onboarding and post-hire support. The employment service provider has hosted seven virtual job fairs that have resulted in follow-up interviews and job offers for Afghan nationals.

Employers such as Maple Leaf Foods, CGI, and Rogers work with ACCES. They are now also working with TalentPool in Calgary to host larger job fairs in other areas of Canada and have teamed up with Ikea Canada to launch a national Customer Experience Training Program.
