BC PNP Draw

British Columbia had another PNP draw on January 23, inviting 45 newcomers to the province through the BC PNP Tech Pilot program.

The minimum scores for the categories were 95 for an international graduate, 85 for a skilled worker, and 68 for entry-level and semi-skilled workers. The minimum scores have not fluctuated yet this year.

The Tech Pilot requires candidates to have a job offer in one of 29 occupational categories, including mechanical engineers, database analysts, software and web designers, and broadcast technicians.

The aim of such draws is to recruit newcomers in the tech field. Issued weekly, they expedite the immigration process for these individuals to boost BC’s growing tech sector.
