In a move to limit the spread of COVID-19, many organizations that provide settlement and resettlement services in Canada are now offering these services by video, phone, and email.

Resettlement and settlement service providers are currently prioritizing critical services such as:

• Income support and services for government-assisted refugees
• booking medical appointments and language interpretation assistance
• crisis counselling

Some settlement service providers are still offering other services such as language assistance, help searching for jobs, and providing information on community services.
