Canada invited 3,600 newcomers to apply for Express Entry on July 10, the largest such draw since January.
Candidates from the Federal Skilled Trades program, which was also selected in the May 15 draw, were invited to apply.
The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate was 460, two points lower than the previous round on June 26. The tie-breaking rule was selected for candidates who submitted their profiles before June 11, 2019.
Express Entry is a way to fast-track Canadian citizenship for newcomers with in-demand skill sets. Once eligible, a newcomer’s online profile is entered into the Express Entry pool and scored according to the Comprehensive Ranking System, which assigns points to skill sets such as language, education, and work experience.
