Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced modifications to the pre-removal risk assessment (PRRA) for individuals from Belarus.

Those who received a final negative decision during the period from February 20, 2020 to February 19, 2021, may be eligible to apply for PRRA. Those who received or receive a final negative decision after February 19, 2021 must wait 12 months before applying for PRRA.

Each case will be evaluated on an individual basis and maintaining an up-to-date PRRA application is the obligation of the applicant.
