IRCC Discrimination Survey to Permanent Residents

Did you become a permanent resident of Canada in the years 2015, 2017, or 2019 and are 18 years of age or older?

The department of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) wants to hear from you.

Starting February 23, 2022, the IRCC is circulating a voluntary and confidential survey online to immigrants who fit the above description on their experiences of discrimination in their communities. The aim of this survey is to inform the IRCC’s future services and campaigns based on the results.

An invitation to take the survey will automatically be sent to immigrants who became permanent residents in the above-mentioned years. Choosing to take the survey will not in any way affect past, present, or future applications with the IRCC.

The survey takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete, is available in English or French, and must be completed by March 9, 2022, if you wish to participate. This survey is not for immigrants living in Quebec. The email with the invitation to take the survey will include a link and should not have any attachments. An IRCC email will be included in case you have questions.
