International students attending classes at a designated learning institution (DLI) can only travel to Canada if their DLI has an approved COVID-19 readiness plan.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated its list of qualifying DLIs.

Students are advised to check the list regularly and ensure their DLI is on the list before traveling to Canada. IRCC reminds international students that if they attempt to travel to Canada to attend a DLI that is not on the list, they will be refused entry.

Canada now requires travelers on international flights to submit a negative COVID-19 test before boarding. This policy applies to travelers 5 years of age and older.
