New requirements for air travelers entering Canada take effect on February 21, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET.
Travellers flying to Canada must secure a government-authorized hotel for 3 nights prior to travel and take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival.
Travellers are required to use the ArriveCAN app or website to show proof of pre-paid hotel reservations and travelers must pay all costs associated with hotel quarantine such as food, transportation, and prevention measures.
Travellers are still required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test prior to travel and to finish the balance of their 14-day quarantine after their hotel stay. The Canadian government strongly recommends against non-essential travel at this time.
