Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has released new updates for permanent residence programs that require Express Entry completeness checks. These changes are effective as of January 8, 2021

Express Entry applicants now have 90 days to submit permanent residence applications after being issued invitations. IRCC has clarified that the 6-month processing standard is determined by the date the Global Case Management System receives an application.

IRCC has also provided new guidance on acceptable translations of supporting documents for Express Entry.
