Many in-person offerings from immigration service provider organizations (SPOs) have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While some SPOs are re-opening to offer critical services in person, non-critical services are still being offered remotely.

These free services are offered to newcomers to Canada by phone, email, or online. newcomers can receive help from experienced settlement professionals to look for a job, place to live, or schools for their children. In addition, newcomers can also register for language classes or get a language assessment.

Those currently outside Canada may qualify for pre-arrival services in their home countries prior to moving.
