Two Provincial Nominee Program draws occurred last week, with 720 invitations issued to skilled foreign nationals.

British Columbia’s December 10 Tech Pilot Draw issued 53 invitations to newcomers with jobs in the tech sector. The minimum score has remained constant for the past several months, at 90 across all four streams.

Ontario’s December 11 draw issued 667 notifications of interest under the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. Comprehensive Ranking System scores for this draw ranged from 410 to 479. The draw selected for profiles created over the past year from December 11, 2018 to December 11, 2019.

PNP draws help provinces find skilled labour, particularly in areas experiencing labour shortages.
