Three Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws occurred last week.

PNP draws issue invitations to foreign nationals with skill sets matching provincial labour needs in BC, Manitoba and PEI.

BC hosts a Tech Pilot draw to select candidates working in the tech industry. Fifty-six invitations were issued with minimum scores for all categories at 90 – unchanged from previous draws.

PEI’s draw issued 171 invitations on November 21; 157 of which were in the Labour & Express Entry category, while 14 were Business Work Permit Entrepeneur Invitations. The minimum score for Labour & Express entry candidates was 130, a jump of 8 points from the previous draw on October 17.

Manitoba’s draw also occurred on November 21; 230 invitations were issued to candidates through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education and Skilled Workers Overseas streams. The minimum score for the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category was 504, 56 points lower than the previous draw on November 7. The minimum score for the Skilled Workers Overseas category was 20 points higher than the November 7 draw, at 739.
