Provincial Nominee Program draws held this week issued a combined total of 1,271 invitations to foreign candidates in Saskatchewan and British Columbia (B.C.).
British Columbia issued 413 invitations on October 29 across its five separate streams, with minimum scores seeming the same as the October 15 draw; the only difference being a decrease by three points in both the Express Entry B.C.—Skilled Worker stream and, the Skills Immigration—Entry Level & Semi-Skilled stream.
Saskatchewan’s draw issued 627 invitations through the Express Entry stream and 231 invitations through the Occupations In-Demand stream, with minimum scores of 68 in each category, presenting one point lower than the October 24 draw.
The Provincial Nominee Program is an avenue used by provinces to select foreign nationals who possess skills useful for their provincial economic boost.
