At a summer meeting in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the premiers emphasized the benefits of immigration for Canadian communities, timely and fair assessments for foreign-trained Canadians, the importance of swift processing for economic immigrants and refugees, and the flexibility of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program to allow medium-sized businesses to find Canadian workers.
