Queens University and Université de Sherbrooke are currently developing a diploma program for immigration consultants, set to launch in 2021.
Queens has been named by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council as the only accredited provider of the program in English; Sherbrooke will offer the same program in French.
Designed for students who want to write the ICCRC’s Entry-to-Practice Exam, the course will cover topics such as immigration law, ethics, and business practices in the industry.
The program will have higher admission standards than current programs and expects to admit about 500 students per year.
