In an annual awards ceremony organized by IRCC in collaboration with Hire Immigrants Ottawa, RBC was one of three businesses recognized for their commitment to helping newcomers integrate.
RBC has made ongoing efforts to hire newcomers, help them advance in their careers, and provide information to help them settle in Canada. Recently, RBC has introduced a new platform called Arrive, which has information for newcomers about employment and housing, also providing them the opportunity to receive individualized, professional support through its chat function.
The summit gives an award to one small, one medium, and one large business each year to celebrate employers who are committed to helping newcomers integrate, and it sparks conversation between businesses about the topic.
