The Government of Canada’s nationwide Job Bank – a website that offers listings from government agencies and private companies – will now be available on mobile phones through the iOS App Store and Go
The app joins a growing list of similar government-funded web and mobile applications, notably from the CRA, the Canadian Armed Forces, and IRCC. Click here for a full list of Government of Canada apps.
Users can find thousands of jobs across Canada through the site’s bilingual interface, get notifications when there’s a match in criteria, and find jobs based on geographic location – all from their phone.
The app already has over 50,000 downloads and 438,000 job searches.
