Another Express Entry draw took place today, issuing 3,600 invitations to candidates in the Express Entry pool.
The past three draws have issued 3,600 invitations each.
The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate was 457, nine points lower than the previous round on August 12. The tie-breaking rule had an earlier cutoff than that draw, selecting for candidates who submitted profiles before March 24, 2019. Candidates from the Federal Skilled Trades program were included in this round, as in previous rounds this year.
The Express Entry system gives eligible, skilled foreign nationals a chance to fast-track their permanent residence applications, ranking candidates in the Express Entry pool based on their human capital such as language skills, work experience, skills transferability.
As of August 15, there were 116,879 profiles in the Express Entry system.
