Welcome to MyConsultant.ca! Our unique platform dispenses aid and comprehensive information to people with Canadian immigration and citizenship needs or questions.
Here you’ll find a bustling community of Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs), who are authorized by the Government of Canada to provide advice and represent you (see the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Citizenship Act for more information).
In Canada, only a select group of professionals are qualified to provide paid services for an immigration application and represent clients at governmental immigration departments. RCICs are part of this select group. Rigorously trained before certification to ensure the necessary level of expertise is met, authorized representatives are regulated by strict professional codes that safeguard the ethical and cutting-edge quality of their services.
We urge you to be vigilant when seeking immigration advice or representation. Not all representatives are authorized, and some can mislead or misinform you for their own benefit. Always make certain that your consultant is a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) before proceeding with an application. Additionally, some Canadian provinces (e.g. Quebec and Saskatchewan) require RCICs to be registered with the provincial government as well, so always make sure that your representative has met all the legal requirements before using his or her services.
You’re free to read all about Canadian culture, peruse our in-depth articles on a wide range of immigration law matters, or arrange to meet with an RCIC of your choice to discuss your options. Whatever your status is, you’ll find what you’re looking for at MyConsultant.ca!
