The Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) will hold its two-day National Citizenship and Immigration Conference October 2-4 at the Marriott Hotel in Niagara Falls.
The conference will convene immigration and citizenship consultants, lawyers, academics, and researchers, from Canada and abroad, to explore immigration law and policy through various critical lenses.
The theme of the conference is “Innovation and Integration,” which reflects the spirit of the recent September 19 members’ vote to continue the current regulator (the ICCRC) as the new College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
The College will possess extraterritorial power to pursue unauthorized representatives, making Canada’s immigration system safer for consumers.
