Canada Extends Non-Essential Foreign Travel Restrictions Until May 21, 2021

The federal government has extended existing non-essential travel restrictions on trips to Canada from countries other than the United States until May 21, 2021.

Current restrictions on travel to Canada from the United States remain in place until May 21, 2021.

If your trip to Canada qualifies as essential travel, you are required to comply with travel requirements such as COVID-19 testing, ArriveCAN check in, and mandatory quarantine. These measures apply to both air travelers and those who drive to Canada from the United States.
