Choose Government-Approved Representatives for Your Immigration and Citizenship Applications

March is Fraud Prevention Month and that makes this the perfect time to review best practices for hiring representatives to assist you with your immigration and citizenship applications.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is reminding the public that you do no need to hire representative to complete your application. However, if you choose to hire a representative to help you with your immigration application, remember that only government-approved representatives can charge for their services.

If you want to hire a rep, immigration and citizenship consultants who are members in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) are government-approved representatives and here for you!

IRCC advises potential immigrants that it will not deal with hired representatives who are not government-approved. Hiring an unapproved representative may result in IRCC returning or refusing your application.
