An Express Entry Draw took place on December 19, welcoming another 3,900 candidates to participate in Canada’s Express Entry program.
The Comprehensive Ranking System, designed to identify the best candidates for the program, had a lower points threshold than the previous draw, with a cutoff of 439 points or more. So far, the lowest cutoff point has been 413.
2018 has now seen 3,778 more candidates invited to the program than in 2017, making it a record year for Express Entry invitations.
The draw is part of Canada’s ongoing commitment to increase the number of immigrants granted citizenship status over the next three years.
