IRCC has released the Immigration Levels Plan for 2020-2022.

After some adjustments, Canada now plans to accept 341,000 immigrants in 2020, 351,000 in 2021 and 361,000 in 2022. Adjustments to the targets increased the goal for Economic and Refugee classes by 1,000 each in 2021.

Numbers from the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) are also included. The IRCC plans to make the AIP permanent. A new stream under the Resettled Refugees - Government Assisted category will be introduced in 2021. It will have 250 spots for human rights activists, journalists and humanitarian workers at risk. The numbers for 2021 and 2022 will be revisited on November 1 of each year.
