For the past 20 years, Canada has offered pre-arrival services for new immigrants aimed at helping them succeed once they arrive.
The Liberal government’s multi-year immigration plan will give an additional $113 million in extra funding to these pre-arrival services, $22.4 million of which will go to the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. program.
The funding will assist 16 organizations that offer orientation, referrals, and employment services.
