Hawkesbury is a city of 10,194 located in Eastern Ontario, situated approximately 100 km distance between the cities of Ottawa and Montreal. Residents lead a quasi-rural lifestyle, enjoying easy access to large urban centres. This rural Ontario town has a large Francophone majority and bilingual population.
