The Honourable Marco E.L. Mendicino, P.C., M.P., Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will attend the commencement for the new Point d’accueil francophone (PAF)

PAF consists of 10 organizations that provide Francophone immigrants settlement services in Eastern Ontario. As part of the launch, Minister Mendicino announced $6.1 million in funding over the next five years for Réseau de soutien à l’immigration francophone and PAF.

It is anticipated that the PAF program will support 1,000 immigrants annually when the COVID-19 pandemic ends.
