Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced that Visa Applications Centres (VACs) are beginning to offer some biometrics services in India for those travelling to Canada.

These appointments will be prioritized for those traveling to reunite with family as a permanent resident or to attended approved designated learning institutions (DLIs).

Those who meet the criteria can make biometrics appointments online for VACs in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad Jalandhar, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.

Paper applications are not currently accepted at VACs.
