Another Express Entry Draw was held on August 12, inviting 3,600 candidates to the Express Entry (EE) program.
The score of the lowest-ranked candidate was 466, seven points higher than the previous round on July 24. The tie-breaking rule selected candidates who had submitted profiles before August 6, 2019.
A notification on the IRCC website advises those with active profiles that the table showing the amount of money required for settling in Canada has been updated, so individuals may want to update their Express Entry profile accordingly. Updating a profile doesn’t change the date it was submitted, so your status in a tie-breaking situation would remain the same as before.
