The Salon de l'immigration et l’intégration is the largest free event for newcomers in Canada, showcasing resources for living, working, and studying in Quebec.
In addition to the over 230 exhibitors, there will be a series of lectures and workshops on preparing for life in the province, as well as live multi-lingual broadcasts by Radio Canada International in French, English, Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin.
Meanwhile, Espace CV will provide advice on how to build a resume, Express Recruitment Space will conduct flash interviews, and Photobooth Space will give visitors a chance to update their online photo.
The event will take place at Palais des congrès de Montréal, 1001 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle, room 210, on May 29 and 30 from 10am to 6pm, with a special media event happening on May 30 at 10:30 am highlighting the programs and services on offer.
Organized by Immigrant Quebec, the fair is a way to help immigrants integrate into their new home as smoothly as possible. More information can be found on the event website, salonimmigration.com.
