Immigration Applications Processed at Record-breaking Speed Thanks to New Hires and Modernization

It's been a long and challenging year for everyone, but Canada's Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) department has been working hard to process a record number of applications.

In the last four months, the department has processed nearly half a million applications, reducing pandemic backlogs significantly.

And according to IRCC, new study permits are now being processed within the 60-day service standard. The department remains on track to meet its goal to process 80% of new applications within service standards for most programs and continues to make strides in improving processing, resulting in shorter wait times for our clients.

This is good news for those looking to immigrate to Canada, as the process is becoming more streamlined and efficient. Of course, with any complex process like this, there are bound to be hiccups. But with IRCC's commitment to improving processing times, it's clear they are committed to making the immigration process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
