As part of the government’s efforts to improve services at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, 10 offices across Canada will now offer extended hours on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Extended hours will increase accessibility to IRCC services and will potentially allow more family members to attend citizenship ceremonies offered at the offices.
Service improvements at the IRCC Client Support Centre include offering more permanent resident landing services, reducing the permanent resident card wait time to seven days, and testing innovative ways to speed up the citizenship process.
