The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Canadian Transit Company have recently announced installations of three NEXUS eGate lanes at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor.
Border officials can now remotely process Canada-bound NEXUS members from CBSA offices, allowing for more efficient services at the border. The CBSA looks forward to more installments in additional ports of entry soon.
NEXUS members are low-risk, pre-approved travellers who benefit from accelerated entry into Canada and the U.S. They can expect additional benefits from the eGate installations with extended hours of service and accessible services.
