The Business Immigrant Mentorship Program (BIMP) recently celebrated the graduation of its newest 19 students at Fredericton City Hall.
The five-month program gives newcomers the tools they need to succeed in doing business in New Brunswick, including one-on-one mentoring on topics such as growing a business, aspects of Canadian business culture, and how to prepare legal documents.
With baby boomers now gradually leaving the workforce, welcoming immigrants is a vital way to replace them and foster the cultural diversity and social development in the area. The BIMP, which has now been running for a decade, will help the province achieve these goals.
