On June 10, 2022, a new Code of Professional Conduct for College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Licensees came into effect.
It replaces the RCIC Code of Professional Ethics and RISIA Code of Ethics.
The Code of Conduct establishes strong ethical and professional standards that hold accountable all licensees of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). The regulation will significantly impact the profession, as well as those who conduct business with immigration and citizenship consultants.
The Canadian government takes the regulation of immigration and citizenship consultants very seriously; this ensures that all immigrants who hire a licensed Immigration and Citizenship Consultant get expert advice and aid.
