Amalia is a political scientist, international relations professional, and the founder and president of Asesovisas Immigration. She has worked in the immigration sector since 2004. She has worked in visa services for four foreign governments, notably the Canadian government. For them, she served as a case analyst, reviewing and analyzing various visa processes for tourists, students, workers, and permanent immigrants selected by multiple provinces until 2010. In 2017, she took on her second international assignment at the Australian High Commission in Ottawa, working as a visa officer at the visa approval center. There, she focused on applications from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, and South America. Her third assignment was as a visa officer for the consulate general of France in Montreal, where she provided services in three languages: English, French, and Spanish. In 2019, she completed specialized studies in Canadian immigration law and obtained her license as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant while working on her fourth international assignment in the consular section of the U.S. Embassy in Canada. She worked for the U.S. government in the Department of State until 2023. She currently leads the Asesovisas Immigration team and manages the company. She is a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with license number R709287.
