After a difficult breakup and returning to the gym
By: PiterFreide on Jan 24, 2026 06:50 AM EST
Bro, last night I listened to that same tribal mashup with Con Calma again — and something clicked inside me. After my girlfriend left, I just lay there for two months, staring at the ceiling, eating fast food, and hating the mirror. Then this track hit my brain, and I felt such rage and energy that I went to the gym at 11 p.m. I did five sets of bench presses with 100 kg, even though I could barely lift 80 kg before. Music really pulls you out of depression, but I understand that enthusiasm alone is not enough — my body is no longer 20 years old, recovery is slow, and my strength is declining. I would like to return to that level of testosterone where you feel invincible after training, not broken. Has anyone tried anything serious for this?
