After cleaning passwords disappeared
By: lleailea on Jul 17, 2025 06:34 PM EST
I did a full system cleaning using one utility - I wanted to speed up my laptop before an important meeting. Everything started working faster, but the saved passwords in browsers disappeared and I was logged out of all accounts. There were no warnings, just cleaning - and that's it. The usual "free" versions of the software don't seem to have such profound consequences. Is there something powerful, but at the same time controlled in use?

I had a similar experience when I decided to “refresh” my system a little before an important meeting. After cleaning, everything really worked faster, but all saved logins and settings in browsers disappeared - I had to restore everything manually. Since then, I have been using CCleaner Pro cracked for such tasks, because it has detailed settings where you can choose what to delete and what to leave.
