Basement Conversion Ventilation Windows

Turning our damp basement into a proper living space and building regs require specific ventilation glazing that standard suppliers don't seem to stock readily. The building inspector mentioned specific spacer requirements I'd never even considered before starting this project. Would appreciate seeing sealed units and bespoke glass examples that explain compliance requirements clearly for basement conversions specifically. Feeling out of my depth with all the technical jargon suddenly.

If you're drowning in technical jargon and just want to understand what you're actually paying for, finding someone who explains the reasoning behind specs rather than just quoting numbers makes all the difference to getting approval without endless back-and-forth with building control.
