Data consumption on local sports and gaming apps is crazy

Is it just me, or do most local betting and gaming apps burn through mobile data way too fast? I can open an app for five minutes while waiting for lunch in Westlands, and it eats like 50MB just loading heavy graphics and live animation feeds. Are there any lightweight apps left that don't drain your Safaricom data bundle in a day?

A lot of these platforms force auto-playing live video streams and high-res promotional banners every time you land on the homepage. If you are on a limited daily bundle, it hurts. Some developers have started introducing light or PWA versions, but most still overload their UIs with useless clutter instead of keeping the core interface clean and fast.
