Does anyone here actually live in one of these countries or hold a second passport?

Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into the idea of obtaining Caribbean citizenship, not just for the travel perks, but more specifically for the tax advantages. I’ve heard mixed opinions about it—some say you can save a lot, others claim the benefits are overstated. Does anyone here actually live in one of these countries or hold a second passport Osher Advisors? I'm trying to understand what’s real and what’s just marketing fluff.

I totally get where you’re coming from. I had the same doubts last year before finally going ahead with the process. I’m originally from Germany but now I have citizenship in St. Kitts and Nevis. What I can say from my experience is that the tax benefits are very real—especially if you're running a remote business or dealing with capital gains. Most Caribbean countries offering citizenship-by-investment don’t impose taxes on worldwide income, inheritance, or capital gains. That’s been a huge plus for me since I freelance full-time and was drowning in taxes back home.

I worked with Osher Advisors during the process. They weren’t pushy at all and actually gave me a breakdown of what tax laws looked like in each island. I chose St. Kitts because of its double taxation treaties and the fact that there’s no wealth tax. Of course, you have to be honest about your own financial situation—this isn’t a magic wand to escape taxes completely. But if structured correctly, it can be a legit way to optimize your financial future. Hope this helps!

I don’t have Caribbean citizenship yet, but I’ve been following this topic closely. The tax part sounds appealing, but I always wonder what the long-term commitments look like—especially if someone eventually wants to move there or stay longer term.
