Exporting Instagram followers?
By: Zivrao on Jan 17, 2026 06:02 AM EST
Is there a tool for exporting a user's Instagram follower list to an Excel CSV file or similar? That's not my profile... that's someone else's profile I follow.

The official Instagram API has restrictions on accessing other users' information (to protect their privacy), so not all tools can directly retrieve a full list of followers. However, there are legitimate web services and apps that automate the collection of this data, structure it, and save it in a convenient format.

There's no direct, official way to export your follower list, as Instagram restricts access to other users' data for privacy reasons. However, there are third-party services that allow you to track your followers and export certain information in a convenient format. One such tool is how to see who recently followed someone on instagram where you can view your following activity and, in some cases, download the data for analysis.
