Got a quote for a PDK rebuild, is this price normal or am I being taken for a ride?

My 2013 Boxster S started slipping in second gear a few weeks ago and it has gotten worse to the point where I do not feel comfortable driving it anymore. Took it to a specialist and they told me the PDK needs to come out and be rebuilt, quoted me a number that honestly made me sit down. I am not saying it is wrong, I just have no frame of reference for what a Porsche PDK gearbox rebuild handled by experts should actually cost around here. Has anyone on this forum gone through a PDK rebuild and can share what the realistic price range is? Also how long was the car off the road because they told me three weeks and I am trying to figure out if that is standard or if they are dragging it out. Would really appreciate some honest numbers before I commit to anything.
