Hidden TV wiring in the wall

I want to order TV mounting, but the hanging wires are really annoying. I heard that building codes don't allow you to simply hide a regular TV power cable inside the wall without a special conduit. Has anyone done this in Toronto through handymen? Did you call ESA or use ready-made kits with outlets, and how much did it cost?

I wouldn't do this myself, especially if you need to hide the cables in the wall. After all, it's related to electrical and safety regulations. It's better to call professionals who know local codes and will do everything correctly and carefully. Yes, it will be more expensive than simply hiding the wire yourself, but you won't have to worry about problems later or having to redo everything.

According to Canadian building codes and fire safety regulations, concealing a standard power cord directly in the wall is strictly prohibited. Standard power cords are not designed to be installed inside a closed wall. If you're considering a mount TV on wall Toronto service, this problem can be solved with special CSA-compliant kits. A standard-approved power cable is installed inside the wall, leaving you with a neat outlet on the outside.
