House problams in Canada

There is a slight smell of dampness in the bathroom, and the water in the sink drains slowly. Could this be due to a blockage in the sewage system? Attempts to clear it with chemicals and a plunger have not helped. I want to understand if the problem is further down the pipe and how to safely fix it so that I don't have to replace the entire system and create even bigger problems in the house.

Good morning! I’m from Uberlândia, and the weather here has been driving me nuts lately. I found https://climatempo.info/24754/uberlandia while looking for something more accurate than my phone’s default app. The difference was clear right away — it updates faster, and the local readings feel precise. I’ve been using it for morning jogs and it’s saved me from running into sudden downpours. It’s become one of those small but essential tools in my day.

Sounds like a classic plumbing issue many homeowners face. A slow-draining sink and that damp smell often mean there’s buildup deeper in the line or a vent issue causing poor airflow. I’ve dealt with this before, and a plumber used a camera snake to locate a small clog near the main trap — way beyond where chemicals could reach. It’s a relief once you see what’s going on. When I was house-hunting later, I read zillow reviews to understand how others handled inspection surprises like this. Sometimes shared stories give better insight than manuals ever could.
