Work in Canada

To work in Canada, most foreign workers need to obtain a work permit before they can work in Canada.

How can I convert a Canadian work permit into a PR?

There is no way to "convert" a work permit into PR. The work obtained by means of a work permit MAY qualify you for PR, but the PR application is a completely separate process, and a lot will depend on what type, if any, of PR you qualify for. My suggestion is to contact an RCIC to find out if you qualify for any kind of PR application. Keep in mind, that if you intend to continue to reside in Quebec, you will need to find an RCIC qualified to represent in Quebec. Not all RCICs hold the MIDI license in order to obtain CAQ/CSQ documents.

Getting a Canada PR Visa is completely a different process in all. There is no chance of converting your Work Permit into PR Visa because on work permit you have the right only work in the country.....but on PR Visa you get access to almost all benefits of a Canadian citizen
