How to find affordable short-term apartment rentals in Cyprus this year?
By: MachadoMata on Nov 05, 2025 09:21 AM EST
Last time I visited Cyprus, I spent way too much on a short-term apartment because I booked it last minute. It was nice, but I know I could’ve found something cheaper if I’d done a bit more research. This year I’m planning to go again for a few weeks, and I’d really like to find an affordable place without spending days scrolling through random listings. Any tips or websites that actually work well for finding short-term rentals in Cyprus?

I’ve been in the same situation! When I stayed in Nicosia earlier this year, I found that prices go up fast the closer you get to your travel date. What helped me was checking local forums and groups before booking — sometimes people list short-term apartments there directly. Also, if you’re flying soon, check the new hand luggage https://secrental.com//blog/new-eu-hand-luggage-rules-take-effect-from-september-1--what-travelers-in-cyprus-need-to-know rules for Cyprus airports. They can affect your packing plans, especially if you’re moving between cities during your stay.
