My Durango is eating oil and I am not sure if it is serious yet

Noticed last month that the oil level on my 2016 Durango was dropping faster than it should between changes. No visible leaks on the ground, no blue smoke that I can see, but I am adding about half a litre every few weeks which feels wrong. I have read that these 3.6 engines can have issues with the PCV valve or sometimes it is just a slow seal leak somewhere hidden. Before I panic I want to get it looked at properly and I have been searching for the best Dodge servicing near Al Qusais since it is close to where I live. Has anyone else dealt with oil consumption on a Durango and what did it turn out to be? I am hoping it is something simple and not rings or valve seals, because that would be a whole different conversation. Also is there a specific test they should run to figure this out, like a compression test or a leak down, or do they just eyeball it?
